First Christmas, White Christmas

This is what we woke up to Christmas morning! What a wonderful surprise for Catie Grace's very first Christmas.

Santa was very good to Catie Grace this year. He must have known what a sweet little girl we have here!

The Thursday night before Christmas we had a family Christmas with my parents, my sister-in-law, and my nephew. It was so wonderful to spend time with everyone. We had a traditional Christmas dinner, watched Christmas movies, played a few board games, all while dressed in our P.J.'s. I. loved. it.

Picture of Catie Grace in one of her (many) Christmas pajamas. Sometimes her hair sticks straight up like that. Gerry and I call it her old man hair. She's too cute!

My parents got Catie Grace a "Baby's First Christmas" ornament with her name on it.

On Christmas Eve we attended Mass at OLPH and then everyone came over to our house for Christmas Eve dinner. I don't know how I didn't get a single picture of Christmas Eve! Catie Grace looked so beautiful in her Christmas smocked dress and she was such a good girl during Mass. The dinner at our house was more of a traditional dinner from when I was younger. We had homemade macaroni and cheese, pan fried turkey, merliton casserole, and stuffed eggs. Yum yum!

Christmas morning we woke up to several inches of the most beautiful snow. It was absolutely perfect! After Catie Grace got to look at her presents from Santa (of course she cared!) we took a very slow drive out to Gerry's mom's house for Christmas breakfast.

The beautiful snow at Gerry's mom's house. It was so gorgeous out there.

Catie Grace opening her gifts from her Granny and Pop Pop. She was VERY excited about all of the cute clothes and fun presents she got.

Somebody loves the snow! Maybe not, but we had fun playing in the snow with her.

Catie Grace and I were tuckered out after playing in the snow. We had to take a nap!

Because of the snow and the fact that my parents live up a huge hill that doesn't always get salted, we didn't get to see my parents on Christmas Day. At least we got to see them the next day at Sunday dinner. We had such a wonderful Christmas with our families and Catie Grace. She is more wonderful each and every day!
