Cloth Diaper Saga- A Year With Cloth

Well ladies and gentleman, it's hard to believe that it's been a whole year that we have had Catie Grace's little bum in cloth!  I realized I haven't posted anything about diapering in a while, so I thought I'd give an update.

I guess I haven't really posted a lot about cloth diapering because it really has just become a way of life.  I rarely ever think about it- it's just something we do.  We do diaper laundry about every three days, and it only takes me about 10 minutes to re-stuff her diapers.  It's just part of the laundry now!

We did a deep cleaning of the diapers last week and I dried them outside in the sun (which I haven't had time to do since school has started).  They are back to their pristine, non-ammonia smelling selves!

All-in-all, cloth diapering is going fabulously!  Gerry and I recently took a trip to Gatlinburg and had to buy disposable diapers for the week- man are they expensive! I was very happy to get CG's bum back in cloth when we got home.
