Catie Grace- 5 months!

It's so hard to believe that Catie Grace is five months old-this first year is flying by! In Catie Grace's four month post, I forgot to post her stats from the doctor. Here is Catie Grace's info from her four month appointment:

Weight- 14 lbs 13 oz.; 75th percentile
Height- 26 in.; 95th percentile
Head- 16.25 in.; 55th percentile

What a big girl!

Now, on to an update of Catie Grace at 5 months-
We don't go back to the doctor until Catie Grace is six months, so I don't have any new weight or height measurements, but I know she is definitely growing!

• Catie Grace drinks 6 ounces of breast milk at a time.
• Cloth diapering is going great! (Post to come later)
• She can roll over both ways with ease. Catie Grace is a little wiggle worm and is starting to scoot all around her crib and on the floor when she is playing. I think we will have a crawler on our hands very soon!
• Catie Grace started rice cereal at 4.5 months and she loves it. She "helps" us feed her by holding her own spoon and sometimes she grabs the spoon with food on it.
  
• After rice cereal, Catie Grace started the stage one foods. She has tried carrots, sweet potatoes (homemade), and green peas. She has really liked all of them except the green peas. She will eat them, but she's not a big fan. I plan on making most of her baby food, but with school wrapping up, I have been crazy busy.
• Catie Grace is such a laid back and easy baby. She goes to bed between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. and sleeps until 6:30 a.m. She loves her sleep. Thank God.
• Catie Grace had a little bit of trouble going to the bathroom last week and got to try some apple prune juice. She really liked it- and it did its job :).
• She loves to kiss all the time. It is the sweetest thing! She will grab our face and try so hard to kiss us. Usually it ends up being a spitty mess, but we absolutely love it.
• Catie Grace giggles and coos and laughs a lot. When she gets excited she breathes in really loudly and it is hilarious! Her favorite thing to laugh at right now is our little boxer Lucy. They are pretty much best friends.
• Catie Grace is wearing mostly 6-9 months clothes. She could probably still wear 3-6 months in weight, but she is just too tall.
• Catie Grace is very very interested in our food. She has started trying to grab our food and drinks and will even lunge at our food if it gets to close to her.
• She loves bath time and has recently gone from her infant bathtub to just having a towel under her head in the bath.
  

Firsts for Catie Grace during her 5th month:

• Catie Grace swam in a pool for the first time.
• Catie Grace went to Florida.
• Catie Grace went to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
• Catie Grace celebrated her first St. Patrick's Day.
• Catie Grace learned to blow a raspberry. It was her favorite thing for about 2 days..and she hasn't done it since.
