So much to be thankful for!

Our little family of three had such a wonderful Thanksgiving! We have been so blessed throughout our lives, but we are especially thankful this year! Catie Grace has been such a blessing to us. I am really enjoying staying home with her and watching her grow.

I don't necessarily think I have more things to be thankful for each year, but I think as I grow older and gain more perspective on life I understand how truly blessed my life is. We were so lucky with the ease of which we conceived our little miracle, and we are so incredibly blessed that she is a healthy and happy baby. I can't even begin to talk about my luck in meeting Gerry at cheerleading tryouts in 2004. We stop often and discuss how crazy it is that those two goofy cheerleaders are now married and have a sweet baby. Gerry is such an amazing blessing in my life. I honestly didn't think it was possible to have such an amazing life partner. I am so lucky to be able to spend the rest of my life with my very best friend! Last, but not least, I am so thankful for my family. Yes, they may not be perfect, but they have enriched my life in many ways. I don't know what I would do without them!

For Thanksgiving this year, we visited my parents and then went to our friend Blair's house to celebrate with her family. At my parent's house, we had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with my mom, dad, and sister Leah. Although we have dinner every Sunday with each other, it was so nice to take this time to be together.

We love visiting with Blair's family because she has three of the cutest little kids! They are so sweet and well behaved. I think children make the holidays so special, so I just love spending time with all of the little ones! Here are some pictures from Catie Grace's first Thanksgiving.

Our little family!

This is pretty much all Catie Grace and I do all day.. I am sure she is totally over me by now!

Kenzie holding Catie Grace. It looks like we have ourselves a babysitter in a few years!

My dad holding Catie Grace before dinner.

Such a sweet baby girl! She is always so content and happy! Happy First Thanksgiving baby girl!

Here is her little turkey applique outfit we had made for her first Thanksgiving. I think she loved it. The humongous bow and headband on her head didn't bother her one bit!

Catie Grace and her daddy.

Oh what a day! She was tuckered out.
