Eight Months Old!

Catie Grace is 8 months old!  I can't believe how the time has flown by!  CG had a very eventful month.  Here is what the little cutie was up to in June:

• First beach trip- to Panama City, Florida.  She LOVED the beach and wanted to eat all of the sand.
• First tooth on June 2, 2011
• Pulling up to standing- She actually pulled up on her cousin Sloane's car seat when she was sitting in my lap.
• Second tooth on June 19, 2011
• Still nursing wonderfully and eating everything in sight!  She eats three meals a day at an average of about two stage two jars of food at eat sitting- sometimes more.  This girl can EAT!
• She has such a wonderful personality and has her likes and dislikes.  It is amazing that such a little person has such a big personality!

Catie Grace also had her first virus on June 30th.  She was so pathetic and had a fever of 104.  The doctor said everything else was fine and that it was a mystery virus.  The fever lasted a few days and then was gone.  Right after the fever went away, Catie Grace broke out into a rash all over her body.  Apparently this is normal, but it was a little scary.  The rash went away in two days and our little bug was back to normal.

And, the most important news- Catie Grace has said her first word! Mama!  I have been telling Gerry for weeks that she has been saying Mama and he didn't (want to) believe me, but my mom heard it too and it was confirmed :)
