The Russell/Moates wedding was on June, 20 2008. Gerry and I were honored to be asked to be in the bridal party! Everything was absolutely perfect.. and it was so much fun! Megan (the bride) is one of my best friends from high school. She is one crazy girl, so I think we all knew her wedding would be energetic. We had such a fun time planning the wedding, and it was my first time in the wedding coordinator role (other than my own wedding, of course). Rusty (the groom) went to high school with us, but he was older and way too cool for us =)
The baby in this picture is Megan's nephew Shepherd. He was absolute precious. I just like this picture because it looks like I stole some baby and was walking around with him.. and he's looking for his mom.
I helped Megan get dressed for the big day and I was lucky enough to get to put on her camo garter for her. Thank you Megan and thanks to Brenda for the garter. Lovely.
The beautiful bride! Megan was so calm.
Gerry and I got to walk together!
Two of my favorite people! They both look so beautiful in this picture. Livvy is going to make such a beautiful bride next summer.. and so will Amber.. soon, hopefully.....
Here's the gang- This is definitely the reason we had so much fun at all the wedding festivities. I love love love my friends!
The whole wedding party. There were a lot of us.. and this was about 10 seconds before it started raining.
Gerry and me giving our toast. I get a bit emotional during these sort of things, and I know all that was going through Gerry's head was that he hoped I could finish the toast without bawling. I did a good job.. just a few tears shed.
Rob and Amber, one of our favorite couples. They are so sweet & we are so glad to welcome Rob into the group!
The BBS girls- We may look all grown-up.. but keep scrolling down...
Funny story- Elizabeth's 6 year old nephew thought, and I swear to you it was an honest mistake, that it would be okay to flick me. In the boob. This picture was taken right after that happened. We got a good laugh out of it, and Aunt Elizabeth kindly explained that you can NOT do that to people.
Classic picture. Also- note to other brides- take all formal/ posed pictures before alcohol is served. Just believe me.
What's a wedding without the Cupid Shuffle?
Classic. God only knows.
Dancing with my husband. He's such a wonderful dancer.. and I'm coming along.
I don't remember exactly what song this was.. but I would imagine it said something about "getting low" or "going to the floor". Let me point out that Elizabeth did not participate. She is the classiest & most sophisticated person I know- and that's why I love her. Lizzy Leroy is one cool cat.. but she lives all the way in D.C.

Oh, what I wouldn't pay to know what we were talking about at that moment. I'm sure it was absolutely ridiculous.
Sometimes I think it's okay to do the Running Man. In public. In front of cameras.
But that's okay because my husband is molesting the bride at her wedding. I don't know which is worse!
Megan and Rusty used the same photographer as we did. We all really grew to like Chad and his wife, and he's featured in both my wedding pictures and Meg's! What a random pic though; I love it.
I just love my husband.
The newlyweds! What an awesome picture! After the wedding, we all went back to the Read House for drinks.. and we all stayed there. What a wonderful weekend! Meg and Rusty- we love you guys! The best is yet to come...
