21 Weeks..100 degrees outside

Today we are at 21 weeks! Baby is the length of a large banana and weighs about 15 ounces.

I went to the doctor yesterday and Catie Grace is doing well. The doctors said everything looks great and normal. I got to hear her heartbeat again yesterday- so sweet! I feel her moving around just about every day. She is breech so her head is towards my head and her feet are pointing downward, so I feel her kicking me a few inches below my belly button. She is an active little bug! I love it right now, but I hope she doesn't take up kickboxing between now and when she is born.

One of Gerry's old neighbors sent two boxes of newborn baby girl clothes over to our house. They are really cute and it was so exciting to have little itty bitty clothes to fold and hang. Catie Grace's room is almost empty and ready for paint and furniture. Decorating the room is making everything seem very REAL. We are very excited about meeting our little one, but it is also very scary! As her due date gets closer and closer, my worries pile up more and more. I know that we will be able to handle it all, but I can't help from worrying now!

As everyone in Tennessee knows, it is so hot outside! The past few days the temp has been in the triple digits. I am SO greatful that I am only 5 months along. It would be absolutely miserable to be any bigger with this heat! Gerry was kind enough to get me a little pool for our backyard so I can float around and escape the heat. It was so very nice of him to get it for me and I have every intention of getting in it today!

I am looking forward to a restful weekend with Gerry and the Pups!
