Week 24- 6 months!

This week Gerry and I have been trying to decide on a paint color for Baby Catie's room. We have already gone through four different cans of sample paint (one was too pink, one was too green, one was too dark, and one was too light...). You would think it would be easy to find a nice taupe! I am hoping that we find the perfect color this weekend!

We did get her room completely cleaned out, taped off, and ready to paint. I scrubbed the baseboards and took the blinds down to scrub them. No, they aren't that dirty, but I guess I am starting the nesting phase a little early. I am so thankful for my wonderful husband who has graciously offered to paint the room since I can't.

I told Gerry yesterday that I was reading something on a website and it said: "Wow! Can you believe your baby will be here in only 16 weeks?" Only 16 weeks? That seems like forever! I am not wishing away time because Lord knows we don't have things ready for Catie Grace's big arrival, but I am very ready to meet her. 16 weeks seems like a very long time!

On another note, this will be the last week I can wear my wedding ring. I am VERY sad about this, but it is getting pretty snug (with the pregnancy and the heat), so I am taking it off before it gets stuck! I know it will be like 5 months until I can wear it again...good thing I have a ROCKING wedding ring tan line :).
