On Saturday, we finished our baby registry and finally decided on the baby bedding and furniture. We decided on the crib that we have been in love with since we started looking. We had seen the crib online, but they got a floor model in at Children's Fair so we got to see it in person. I almost cried because it was so perfect. Well, I cry at pretty much everything now.. On Saturday night we ate at Tony's Pasta with Jenn and Stefan. Yum! Then we went to the Hunter Art Museum to watch Pops in the Park. It was such a fun way to celebrate our Independence Day.
Today, Sunday, we cleaned out the baby's room. It is almost empty and ready to be decorated. I am so ready to get it painted and start getting Catie Grace's things together! We have about 20 weeks left, but I feel like it is going to fly by like this first 20 has. It is crazy to think that we will have a baby girl here so soon! I am already looking forward to Fall- not just because it is my FAVORITE season, but because I am already tired of the heat. I know I shouldn't wish time away, but I am definitely ready for Halloween already!
Tomorrow we are having a cookout with some of my dearest friends from high school. I am so looking forward to seeing everyone because it has been way too long!
I hope everyone else had a wonderful July 4th! We certainly did! Here is a picture of the crib we picked out.
